Arrived as expected. Worked as expected. Very easy to install.
Seems to be a quality product, and I would recommend it to
everyone.
NOT as described
It was listed as a factory original part and it is not! I paid more than what other heaters were available for because I wanted a genuine factory part but no, it is a cheap replacement part instead..... Not what I was supposed to be purchasing and defiantly not what is described, but yes, it does fit the application.
Temporary repair
I just ordered my part. So I'm waiting for the replacement. However I was able to create a temporary fix until my part arrives. I just simply tightly twisted the broken wire portion of the heating element back together. Then I checked to make sure I had continuity thru the element by using a fluke meter. Put the dryer back together and wallah. Dry clothes again. If you attempt to try and use the same fix just becareful. I'm no professional and wouldn't want anyone to get hurt if they were unsure of what they were doing. I'm just sharing and idea that worked for me. Best of luck with your repair.
