Perfect for my Eureka 4870 Type D-3 The Boss SmartVac
Delivered fast, excellent quality and fit for my Eureka 4870 Type D-3 The Boss SmartVac. If you happen to have this model and type, you'll need a star type screwdriver kit (I think they are called torx?) to remove the bracket that holds the hose in place.
Vac Hose
This is my third vac hose in four years. They are somewhat cheaply made and, I suspect, a product of China. The wiring at the connection points seems to unravel and peel. The plastic tip chips rather easily. What is redeeming about this product is the price. Inexpensive to replace evey 14 months or so. There are higher priced hoses available but I don't know if they would last any longer.

I thought we were going to have to replace our whole vacuum when the hose got ripped. I was so happy to find that parts were easy to get on Amazon.
This is a direct replacement for the The Boss vacuum by Eureka. It is an easy two minute replacement. The price is fair, and my machine is back to new.
