filter usage
Was curious by the idea of changing filters only once a month. I change mine after each use. the amazing part is you can run those little devils through the dishwasher and they are as good as new. Happy cleaning! :D
Neato filters
I love my Neato and find it works best when I change the filter fairly often. I have 3 long haired dogs who shed a lot and I have my Neato clean most every day. My problem is the cost of the filters. I believe they should be changed every month to 6 weeks ( even though I clean them after each use) and at approximately $20.00 each, that is quite an expense. I would like to be able to purchase a larger pack than is now available and for a far better price.

After its first month of operation, cleaning our home each and every day of the week, it was time to replace the Pet & Allergy Filter in our Neato XV-21. With a new Pet & Allergy filter, the dust and debris picked up by the Neato XV-21 is forced to the rear of the dust bin, appearing to gather inside the filter in a layer-by-layer basis. As we clean our home daily with the Neato XV-21, emptying the dust bin is a once-per-day affair. With a one-month-old Pet & Allergy filter we were emptying the dust bin at least twice per day as the debris was not as compacted within the dust bin due to back pressure caused by a filter that was obviously not as free-flowing as a brand new one. Note that the house was not any dirtier, but the dust bin did have to be emptied more frequently. It was simply time for a filter change.
